As regards the official portion of the Director Superintendent, I fully concur in Mr Price's moonsmendation What he showed be the head of a department and be responsible directly to the Executive Government. It would be desirable that he should present a yearly

report of

the transactions of the Obsewatory to the Colonial Government for trasmission to the superial Government.

A copy of this report might with advanlige be forwarded to this Obelwatory.
